There’s a special sort of magic in the air as you get married on New Years Eve. Maybe it’s knowing the clock is about to strike midnight, maybe it’s knowing with all your heart that a new year is truly about to begin, literally as in a new calendar year and as husband and wife. Melissa and David planned a beautiful intimate wedding with close family and friends at the Acworth Conservatory at Waterstone.
It rained so much of the day, but we peeped outside during the dry pockets. We got a cute first look in as well as some killer dusk pictures with Melissa and David and their sweet kids. Melissa was a glamour angel in her silk gown and fur wrap, David looking debonair in his straight cut tux. Their wedding was a fairy tale, and a long time coming. They’ve been together for years, but due to a work conflict they couldn’t make it official. This new years eve, therefore was not only a celebration of their marriage, but also David’s retirement! His boss and sweet coworkers presented him with an amazing retirement gift/wedding present.
The ceremony was one of our favorite parts. Melissa and David wrote their own vows, that left not a single dry eye in the house. You can tell their love spans ups and downs and that’s what makes their love deeper and longer lasting than most. We are so honored to have been a part of this special day for Melissa and David. Congratulations you two!
