Krista and Clay’s wedding was an Atlanta Biltmore Wedding Fairy Tale from beginning to end. The moment Krista arrived with a large smile on her face that lit the room, we knew the day was going to be amazing. She arrived with the girls, all giddy from getting ready. The only thing left to do was to put on the dress, and wow! what a dress! Krista is a ballerina, and her dress accented her gorgeous delicate frame. We did a quick first look with dad, and then romantic first look with Clay in one of the empty ballrooms. This might be my favorite first look of the year. Something about the vacant ballroom was idealistic and intimate.

We ventured out to the cold for a few more wedding party and family pictures before heading to Christ the King Cathedral for their ceremony. It’s always hard when people ask you what your favorite kind of weddings to photograph are because each one is so unique. For example, we had plenty of magical outdoor weddings this year. So when it was time for Krista and Clay to say I Do at the gorgeous Christ the King, we were very excited because the ornate detail of the church sets it apart from other types of weddings.

After the ceremony, we headed back to the packed house at the Biltmore Ballrooms. The Reception Ballroom was just phenomenal in detail. Krista dreamed of every perfect detail for her guests to enjoy dancing into the night including heel bags and ballet slippers for the ladies, midnight snacks, and a endless dessert spread. Finally, at the end of the night and one last surprise from her daddy, Krista and Clay rode off into a brightly lit Cinderella Carriage as the new Mr. and Mrs.
