It was an extremely blustery day for this Chateau Elan Wedding, but that did not stop the day from being one of the most beautiful ceremonies of the year. We first photographed Whitney and Bryan at Chataeu Elan for their engagement pictures. We were very excited when the forecast for their wedding day said full sun and blue skies! Before they became the new Mr. and Mrs. they decided to have a first look to calm the nerves. We did the first look a little differently this time, and had three photographers from three different angles. While someone was capturing the awe on Bryan’s face, another photographer was capturing the scene as it unfolded. I love the way these first look images turned out, they really tell a story.

Meanwhile, the phenomenal crew at Chateau Elan was setting up for a magical wedding ceremony. Drapes and robust purple flowers in all the right places, made guests feels like they entered into a fairy tale ballroom. Down the sweeping staircase Whitney’s dad met her at the bottom to escort her to her groom. The ceremony was lovely and sweet, accompanied by a solo from one of Jimmy Buffet’s band members, long time family friends of Whitney’s Family.

After the formalities of tying the know, we whisked Whitney and Bryan into the vineyards for some breathtaking sunset vineyard shots. Since vineyards can ‘look the same’ I love the challenge of making every shot unique. We had a great team of help to get all the best photographs in our small window of light. The party began and continued into the night as Whitney and Bryan were surrounded by an amazing group of family and friends. Congratulations you two!
