Congratulations to Dustin and Quincy on their recent marriage! We had the pleasure of photographing their Four Seasons Hotel Wedding and wedding rehearsal. Eight months before their extravagant Four Seasons Hotel Wedding, we sat down and talked about what they were looking for in their wedding pictures. Dustin and Quincy didn’t want your typical pictures. They wanted us to capture a lot of emotional and truly candid moments instead of your usual stiff and overly “posey” looking pictures. With that in mind, we sent a team to capture every moment possible!
Quincy and Dustin started the festivities off early. Before the rehearsal and dinner, we spent the day photographing the wedding party’s errands and explorations the day before the wedding. The wedding party met at Piedmont Park. We all walked a couple of blocks in the sunshine and cool air down to a nail salon. To kick off the salon experience (some of them had never had pedicures), Quincy handed a sticky note to everyone with a specific color on it. It was pieced together at the end that everyone’s nails were to be a different color of the rainbow! It was amazing seeing everyone’s excitement for the big day and for finally meeting their new family members at this excursion, the rehearsal, and lastly at dinner at a nearby Mexican restaurant.
After this fun-filled day we couldn’t help but have anticipation for the wedding! On the day of the wedding you could feel the excitement and nervous energy coursing through the air. On the upper floors of the Four Seasons Hotel there are marvelous rooms with windows overlooking the beautiful city of Atlanta. Atlanta’s skyline really complimented the elegant and magical feel of the occasion. We set up the iconic first look on a large cascading staircase, making the unveiling all the more special and dramatic.
At the end of the ceremony there was a cocktail hour that was unlike no other. One fun fact about Dustin is that he loves Cher. Quincy surprised Dustin with a Cher Impersonator! Dustin’s gleeful frenzy was caught on camera, and the guests enjoyed it almost as much as he did. Along with the entertainment, there was a photo booth that guests could go to and take pictures with family and friends. Overall, this Four Seasons Hotel Wedding was a huge success and we would like to congratulate Dustin and Quincy on being newlyweds!
