I always love being a repeat family photographer, so when Lance and Jodi got engaged, I was thrilled that the Chatham family invited me back to photograph this special private home wedding.
Jodi and Lance asked us to shoot their engagement photos prior to the wedding. You don’t want to miss these cute pictures at the site of the home that Lance was having built for Jodi! Mr.and Mrs. Chatham tied the knot on a warm July afternoon at the Chatham residence: the same placed he proposed to her, you can see how at their engagement post! Jodi looked stunning in her beaded dress, veil, and sparkling tiara. Jodi’s bridesmaids were full of laughs and praise as they helped Jodi get dressed for her big day.
Led by her father, the bride walked down the grass “aisle” towards her husband to be. When Lance saw her, he couldn’t contain his smile – he was overwhelmed by her beauty! The ceremony was full of tears, smiles, and most of all, the couple’s apparent love for each other. The ceremony overlooked the Chatham’s lake. As the afternoon wore on, we had to dodge rain in order to get in their portraits together. Jodi and Lance were flexible and great sports to get just enough images of them together now that they are man and wife! The newly wed Chathams capped off the wedding by walking through an archway of close friends and family holding sparklers, and rode their Mercedes off into the sunset. Congratulations Lance and Jodi! It’s always been a real honor to work with your families and we look forward to creating your custom wedding album so you can remember this day for years and years to come!
